    Social Workers & Hotlines

Lusher employs multiple social workers to promote the mental health and well being of students at Lusher.

    Grades K-5: Monique Kerrigan
    Grades 6-8: Michael Binder
Grades 9-12: Katie Brown (you can visit a website here to find resources for both parents and students).

If you have witnessed or been the victim of bullying or cyberbullying of any kind, please reach out to a teacher/administrator, one of our social workers above, or make an anonymous call to the Bullying or Cyberbullying Hotline at 504-304-5782.

If you are concerned that someone under the age of 18 is being abused, call the Child Protection Hotline,
    855-4LA-KIDS (855-452-5437) toll free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Lusher’s faculty and staff are all Mandated Reporters of Child Abuse and Neglect. You can learn more about Mandated Reporters here.
