In the 2019 Homecoming football game, the Lions defeated the McMain Mustangs Friday night 35-34. “The Battle of Nashville Avenue” (fought at Brees Family Field this year) saw multiple lead changes in the 4th quarter, and a last second score and 2 pt conversion by McMain to send the game to overtime. Lusher senior Miles Stewart set a new single season record for Lusher with 4 touchdowns on the night, including what ended up being the game-winning score in overtime (McMain scored on their ensuing drive, but Lusher stopped what would have been a game clinching 2 pt conversion). You can see the stats on the gamecast page here.
Keep an eye on our Hudl page for highlights of the game.
