    Common Core State Standards

In 2010, Louisiana adopted the Common Core Standards for English/Language Arts and Mathematics. Since that time, Lusher has worked to align our literacy and math curriculum to the standards. This spring, schools will participate in a new assessment called PARCC. PARCC stands for Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers. This test is designed to measure performance on the Common Core State Standards for students in grades 3-11. Below you will find a collection of resources to help you better understand the Common Core State Standards and the PARCC Assessment.
