On Friday, January 6th, Lusher will hold a free concert featuring current orchestra students (grades 3-12) and alumni of Lusher’s high school orchestra program since its inception in 2006. The concert will be held at Loyola’s Roussel Hall and feature performances of music by Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens, Corelli and others.
The concert is a celebration of 18 years of strings and orchestra programs at Lusher, as well as the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the high school and its arts programs. Alumni performances represent a 10-year span of the HS CA Orchestra program, including some students who were members of the inaugural orchestra classes in 1999.
This concert is free and open to the public.
